I hope everyone had a great weekend! Here is what we will be working on this week:
- Phonics/Sight Words: beginning blends and digraphs (sh, th, ch), reviewing sight words
- Reading: Back up and reread
- Writing: How to Writing
- Math: More subtracting within 10 and Shapes
- Social Studies: Texas
Reminders:
- This week is Dr. Seuss Week. We will be doing some fun activities and have a different theme every day. They are:
- Monday- Wear silly socks and stripes
- Tuesday- Bring your favorite Dr. Seuss book to read with a buddy. Make sure they are labeled.
- Wednesday- Wear a silly hat
- Thursday- Wear a shirt with as many words as possible for your friends to read.
- Friday- Dress up as your favorite Dr. Seuss character. Students who write a "blurb" about their favorite character or book will receive a spirit stick from the library.
- Next week is Spring Break! :)
